Why you will love this aioli:

    • It is so quick and easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes to prepare. Just like my horseradish aioli and easy dairy-free sour cream.
    • This sriracha mayo has the most amazing flavour.
    • It's made with pantry staple ingredients - just like my pickle juice dressing recipe.
    • This aioli recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free, Whole30, keto, low carb, and paleo and can easily be made vegan too!

    Ingredients and substitutions:

For the full ingredient list and exact measurements refer to the recipe card later in this post.

The ingredients needed to make sriracha aioli separated into bowls.
    • Mayonnaise - You can use your favourite store-bought mayonnaise or you can make your own homemade mayonnaise in under a minute.
    • Sriracha sauce - sriracha adds the perfect amount of heat to this delicious aioli. You can use any type of sriracha sauce or any type of hot sauce that you like. Other great options include Frank's hot sauce or Tabasco sauce.
    • Lime juice - this adds the perfect amount of sweet citrus flavour that contrasts so well with the heat of the sriracha.
    • Spices - garlic powder and onion powder are all you need to perfectly season this aioli sauce.

    Recipe variations and add ins:

    • To make this into a vegan sriracha aioli: use a vegan mayonnaise.
    • If you like a spicier aioli: add 1-2 more tablespoons of sriracha to turn it into a spicy sriracha aioli.
    • If you prefer a milder sriracha aioli sauce: only add 1 tablespoon of sriracha.
    • If you like a sweeter aioli: add 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup.
    • To make this aioli paleo: use a paleo mayonnaise.
    • To make this aioli Whole30 complaint: use a Whole30 compliant mayonnaise.

    How to make sriracha aioli:

A bowl filled with mayonnaise and sriracha sauce.
    1. Step 1: First, place all the ingredients into a small bowl or jar.
A bowl with a sriracha aioli sauce in it with a spoon in it.
    1. Step 2: Then stir everything well until the aioli is smooth and the ingredients are combined. If you prefer you could also use an immersion blender to blend the ingredients. Then enjoy!

    Serving ideas:

This sriracha aioli can be used in so many ways. Here are some of my favourite ways to serve it:

    • As a dipping sauce for easy air fryer French fries, air fried waffle fries, air fryer potato wedges, air fryer turnip fries or onion rings.
    • As a spread for sandwiches, hot dogs or grain free burgers.
    • As a salad dressing or a coleslaw dressing. It's also great on cooked vegetables such as corn or roasted potatoes.
    • Use this spicy mayo a sauce for fish dishes such as baked salmon, poke bowls, fish tacos, sushi, shrimp, salmon cakes or crab cakes.

    Sriracha aioli FAQs:

Is aioli the same as mayonnaise?

Classically aioli was made with garlic and oil while mayonnaise was made from eggs and oil. However, today most aioli recipes are made from eggs and oil, or use mayonnaise as its base. Different ingredients are then added to give the aioli different flavours.

    Is this sriracha aioli keto?

Yes it is. This recipe is low carb and keto friendly.

    Is this aioli vegan?

You can easily make it vegan by using a vegan mayonnaise.

    Does sriracha aioli have dairy?

No it does not. Aioli is made from mayonnaise which does not contain dairy (eggs are a poultry product, not a dairy product).

How do I store this aioli?

Store this aioli in the fridge in an airtight container or jar for up to 14 days.
