Ingredients and substitutions:
- Lemon juice - fresh lemon juice is the star of any great lemonade. You can use any type of lemons to make the fresh lemon juice for this lemonade recipe.
- Maple syrup - maple syrup is used to add natural sweetness to this drink to help contrast the tart flavour of the lemon juice. Maple syrup is one of my favorite natural sweeteners that is refined sugar free. You could also sweeten this lemonade with honey if you prefer.
- Huckleberry syrup - huckleberry syrup gives this lemonade its unique flavour. You can either use homemade huckleberry syrup, or use pre-made huckleberry syrup that you buy. When shopping for huckleberry simple syrup try and find one made without artificial flavors if possible so that this drink has the best huckleberry flavor possible.
