This paleo honey glaze is going to become a new favourite in your kitchen. It's perfect for topping desserts like cakes and donuts, or for just eating off the spoon! It's a great replacement for icing and ou will love how easy it is to make, in just a few minutes.

Friends! I've neglected you for a couple weeks. I am sorry! I am making it up to you with this Paleo Honey Glaze though. This Paleo Honey Glaze is great to keep in your fridge to have on hand just in case. It is the perfect topping for almost any dessert recipe and is delicious eaten straight from the spoon when you just need a little something sweet.

The reason I couldn't post last week was that my C.diff flared yet again. I know, this has been a never-ending saga of sickness. Two and a half months to be exact. I first got sick just after Christmas and it has been a relentless battle since then. But, good news! I got a fecal transplant last week which is basically the best cure for the bug. So fingers crossed I am finally done with this infection. I will be pretty upset if I spent $1200 to swallow someone else's poop for nothing (how is that for a nice visual?).

So far I have been feeling better than I have been for months which has been amazing. I don't want to jinx anything but I am hopeful that the worst is behind me! I will be monitored for at least a year now to make sure I don't have another recurrence. If you're interested in hearing more about my C.diff journey I have been doing regular updates on my Instagram page so you can head there for more information. I am also planning on doing a full post about my C.diff adventure once I am sure that I am over it. Plus another post on the supplements I am using to help my gut heal. Over two months of horrible diarrhea does a lot of damage to the intestinal tract let me tell you, so focusing on gut health over the next few months is going to be crucial to me.

In food news I am totally addicted to this Paleo Honey Glaze. I have been eating this stuff by the spoonful ever since I made the recipes a few weeks ago. It is so easy to make, coming together in just minutes and can be used for so many things. This glaze would make a great topping to my Paleo Carrot Cake Banana Bread, Paleo Banana Pecan Muffins or Paleo Plantain Pancakes. I also use this glaze for the Paleo Carrot Cake Donuts that I will be sharing with you next week. They are the perfect dessert, and just in time for Easter.

Until next time friends, happy eating!

    Paleo Honey Glaze

This Paleo Honey Glaze is going to become a new favourite in your kitchen. Keep this honey glaze on hand to top dessert recipes or to simply eat by the spoonful. Made without any refined sugars this vegan glaze is a healthier alternative to many other icing and glaze recipes.

If you put it in the fridge it will get harder but it doesn't become completely solid if that is what you wondering?
