Healthy Living 101

I made the decision to switch to the paleo diet seven years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did for my health. However, it wasn’t enough to allow me to completely heal. While the paleo diet did get rid of my chronic abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, headaches, sleep disturbances and heat rashes, there were some aspects of my health that didn’t totally heal despite eating real, nourishing foods. Issues like my adult acne and keratosis pilaris. It wasn’t until I started focusing on other aspects of my health, specifically, the environmental health aspects that I was able to experience even greater health than I ever would have imagined.

Sadly, until a couple years ago, I wasn’t even aware that the things I was being exposed to in my day-to-day life and in my own home could be making me ill. I also see my patients struggling with similar issues. They have totally changed their diets but still aren’t seeing all of the results they were hoping for. That is why I decided to create this guide, Healthy Living 101. I want to help you improve your health. Your total health. And you can’t improve your total health until you start focusing on the environmental aspects that could be making you ill.

Now, I am not saying that what you eat isn’t important. Absolutely not. Eating real, nourishing foods is extremely important to not only prevent, but also heal from many chronic diseases, but if all you do is change your eating habits you may not experience the optimal health you are looking for. Healthy Living 101 is a guide that will help you learn how to identify environmental exposures that could be making you sick, and how to replace them with healthier, yet effective alternatives. Because I want you to be able to live your best, healthiest life possible!
