Chocolate & Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients YOU'LL NEED:

Step 1: Melt coconut butter

Using a large pot on the stove top over low heat, melt the coconut oil or butter.

Step 2: Add marshmallows

Add the marshmallows to the pot and heat, stirring frequently until the marshmallows are melted and smooth.

Step 3: Add peanut butter

When the marshmallows are all melted turn off the heat and stir in the peanut butter.

Step 4: Fold in cereal 

Then fold in the cereal to the marshmallow mixture.

Step 5: Spread the mixture

Tansfer the cereal mixture to the prepared pan. Gently spread the mixture to fit the pan and press it down lightly so you have an even layer.

Step 6: Melt chocolate

Put the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or dish, and heat it on high for 30-second intervals until melted.

Step 7: Pour chocolate

Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie treats and then transfer the pan to the fridge for 45 minutes or for 2 hours at room temperature instead.

Cut the cereal treats into squares or pieces and enjoy!
