Equipment
Large bowl
Ingredients
2
lbs
ground pork
3
tablespoon
dijon mustard
2
tablespoon
maple syrup
2
tablespoon
dried basil
sea salt
(to taste)
black pepper
(to taste)
Instructions
In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well with a spoon.
Form the meat mixture into 6 burger patties and place them on a large plate or platter.
Place the plate in the fridge for 30-60 minutes (this helps the burgers stick together better).
Place a pan on the stovetop on medium heat and add oil until it's melted. Add the patties to the pan and cook for 6-7 minutes until browed.
Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes until the burgers are cooked through and the meat is no longer pink inside.
Remove the burgers from the pan, let them rest for a couple minutes, then enjoy!
Notes
Store these burgers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
