Large pot or stockpot
Ingredients

red apples, peeled and chopped
2
tablespoon
organic coconut oil
1
tablespoon
vanilla extract
1
teaspoon
ground cinnamon
(or more to taste)
Instructions
Place a large pot on the stovetop on medium heat.
Add a small amount of water to the pot (enough so you have about a centimetre of water in the bottom of your pot).
Add the remaining ingredients to the pot.
Turn the burner to medium heat and bring the ingredients to a boil.
Turn down the heat to low, and let everything simmer for ~20 minutes, until apples are soft and break apart easily.
Turn off the heat and use your immersion blender to blend the ingredients until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Save any leftover applesauce in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 10 days.
You can use any type of sweet red apples that you like for this recipe.
