Ingredients

cup
plain tomato sauce or pureed tomatoes
1/2
cup
tomato paste

dates
(pits removed)

coconut aminos

vinegar
(balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar)

tablespoon
dijon mustard
1
teaspoon
sea salt
1/2
teaspoon
paprika
1/2
teaspoon
onion powder
1/2
teaspoon
garlic powder
1/4
teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to your Vitamix or other high speed blender and blend well until smooth.
Transfer the sauce to a small pot and turn the burner to medium heat.
Bring the sauce to a boil and then turn the heat down to low.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until it reaches the thickness you desire.
Let the sauce cool before enjoying.
Notes
Store this sauce in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Feel free to make a double batch so that this sauce lasts longer.
