Add the eggs and salt to a bowl and add enough water to cover the eggs.
Place the bowl in the microwave and heat on high for 5 minutes. Let the bowl sit for one minute. Then microwave on high for another 4 minutes.
Immediately add ice to the bowl or run the eggs under cold water to prevent them from cooking more.
Peel the shell off the eggs and enjoy!
Notes
Note that the nutritional calculator includes the salt in the calculation. Since you aren't eating the salt the sodium content isn't an accurate number.
Use room temperature eggs for best results. If you use cold eggs you will need to add more cooking time and the eggs will be more likely to explode.
Do not leave out the salt when you cook eggs in the microwave. If you do the eggs will explode.
Be sure to use a large, deep bowl, not a shallow bowl to cook these eggs. If you use a shallow bowl they might explode.
