Lavender Mint Lemonade

This is the best lavender mint lemonade. It's easy to make and has the most refreshing flavour. It's the perfect healthy summer drink or mocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup depending on how sweet you want it
  • 20 mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lavender flowers (put them in a tea ball)

Instructions

  • Place a medium pot on the stove and add the water plus the lemon juice.
  • Turn on the burner to medium high heat and bring the liquid to a boil.
  • Once it has boiled turn off the burner and add the tea ball filled with lavender flowers, mint leaves and honey.
  • Let it steep for 30-60 minutes.
  • Remove the mint leaves and tea ball and transfer the lemonade to a pitcher.
  • Add some ice or put the pitcher in the fridge to cool the lemonade.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. Store any leftover lemonade in the fridge for up to 5 days. 
  2. You can add more or less honey or maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your lemonade.
