Salad Ingredients

  • 2 bunches kale
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 red apples, chopped

Dressing Ingredients


  1. Rip or cut the kale into pieces and add to a bowl along with the shredded carrots, cut apples and slivered almonds.

  2. In a small bowl or glass measuring cup mix together the dressing ingredients until smooth.

  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well until everything is coated.

Recipe Notes

  1. To make this salad vegan use a vegan mayonnaise. 
  2. Store this slaw in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  3. Feel free to add other nuts to give it a different flavour.
