Simply Sweet Tomato Sauce

Tomato sauce is very easy to make at home, and it helps avoid unnecessary ingredients like sugars.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups baby tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup packed fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt plus more to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3-4 teaspoon organic coconut flour

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients, except the coconut flour, into your blender or food processor and blend until desired texture
  • Pour sauce into large bowl
  • Add coconut flour one teaspoon at a time until it thickens to your liking
  • Serve and enjoy! 

Notes

There are so many things you can do with this recipe. As you already know it can be used as a pizza sauce, but it is also great as a dip or a base for pasta sauces. I may or may not also just eat this straight out of the jar…. (yes it is that good).
