You are going to love these vegan donuts! They have the perfect cinnamon sugar coating and taste just like a deep fried donut, but are so much healthier.
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350F. Whisk the flour, coconut sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together in a large bowl.
Step 2: Pour the coconut milk, applesauce, melted coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and vanilla into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix well with a large spoon to combine.
Step 3: Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling to about 3/4 of the way full. Bake the donuts for 14-16 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the donuts are firm on the outside.
Step 4: Stir the coconut sugar and cinnamon for the topping in a medium bowl, and melt the coconut oil in a separate bowl. Dunk the cooed donuts in the coconut oil and then each donut into the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
