The Best Christmas Crack Recipe

This Christmas crack is gluten free, dairy free, paleo and is perfect for the holidays.

To make this Christmas Crack you'll need: crackers, coconut milk, coconut sugar, tapioca starch or tapioca flour, dark chocolate bars and coconut butter.

Step 1: Place a small pot or small saucepan on the stove and add all the ingredients for the caramel sauce.

Step 2: Turn the burner onto low heat and whisk the ingredients together.

Step 3: Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, whisking regularly, and let the caramel simmer for 5-10 minutes. Allow it to cool in the saucepan for a few minutes.

Step 4: Preheat the oven to 375F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the crackers out in a single layer.

Step 5: Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers and spread evenly until smooth. Bake for 5 minutes, until the caramel is bubbling.

Step 6: Add the chocolate in a bowl, and microwave on high for 20-30 second intervals until melted. Pour the melted chocolate over the baked caramel layer and spread evenly.

Step 7: Melt coconut butter in the microwave by heating the jar for 30-60 seconds on high. Drizzle the mixture over the chocolate layer and place the tray in the freezer and freeze for 1-2 hours
