Paleo Chocolate Raspberry “Oatmeal”

This paleo chocolate raspberry oatmeal is a fun twist on classics oatmeal because it's made with bacon, chocolate and raspberries!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place a medium sized pot on the stove on low heat.
  • Add the bananas, raspberries, coconut milk, coconut butter, coconut oil and vanilla extract and allow to simmer for a few minutes until the bananas start to break apart, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, cinnamon, collagen peptides and sea salt and simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
  • If adding maple syrup or honey add that here.
  • Add the shredded coconut and remove the pot from the heat.
  • Place the lid on the pot and let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the shredded coconut to soften.
  • Add the cooked bacon pieces.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. For more protein add an extra scoop or two of collagen peptides. 
  2. Feel free to omit the bacon if you don't like it.
